Roles and responsibilities Seeking Shift Supervisor for our
ST ALBANS Group Home.
Hours: Sun 9am-9pm, Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs 6am-9am, Thurs 3pm-10pm
-Ensure health, safety & welfare of consumers.
-Implement and adhere to established treatment plans
-Maintain all required certifications
-Flexible to work overtime, evenings weekends and/or holidays when necessary.
-May be required to report to alternate work location (e.g. Hospital, Dr.'s Office etc.)
-Attendance and punctuality is essential
-Maintain facility/residence and grounds
-Transport residents in agency vehicles as needed
-Maintain student/consumer/family confidentiality
-Supervise direct care staff at Residence Program
-Maintain petty cash distribution
-Maintain client’s personal allowance accounts
-Schedule staff at the residence
-Coordinate shopping and proper meal distribution
-Maintain correspondence with Nurse and Medical Coordinator to ensure appropriate medical appointments are made and followed through with
-Ensure program goals are implemented by direct care staff
-Coordinate recreational activities
-Report issues regarding residence vehicles to supervisor
-Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
Skill set -BA preferred. High school diploma
-First Aid, CPR, and SCIP certifications required or Aptitude to obtain upon hire
-Demonstrates patience and the ability to learn and utilize systematic procedures in order to enhance consumer independence and quality of life.
-Valid driver’s license and good driving record
-Ability to run.
-Ability to safely assist lifting individuals of various weights & 20 lb items
-Clearance through state mandated Background/Fingerprint Check
-Must be able to communicate effectively with others and individuals served
-Commitment to company values and adherence to policies
