Roles and responsibilities Job Responsibilities:

-Special Education Teachers will assist in the screening, assessment, and evaluation of students presenting with developmental delays or disabilities in the area of cognitive, communication, social and emotional, adoptive, fine and gross motor skills
-Must travel to In-home appointments throughout NYC to evaluate early intervention referred children.
Skill set Job Requirements:

-NYS Certification Student with Disabilities, Birth to 2nd Grade.
-Proof of Identity(drivers license, birth certificate, Passport)
-Proof of work Eligibility (social security card, Visa)
-Clearance through state mandated Background Check
-Current Medical with PPD
-Proof of Liability/Malpractice Insurance
-Proof of DOI Fingerprint Clearance
-Proof of DOH Approval Letter-Evaluations
-Sample Report
Work experience 2-3years
Upper salary range Commensurate with Experience
