Roles and responsibilities QSAC, Quality Services for the Autism Community, a Not-for-Profit agency, helps individuals with an autism spectrum disorder to live meaningful and fulfilled lives in our society. To accomplish this goal QSAC develops and provides educational, habilitation, residential, support and recreational programs to meet the needs of persons with autism and their families. QSAC is committed to assisting our consumers in becoming independent and productive members of their communities. QSAC is currently looking for an experienced Human Resources Assistant

Responsibilities:
-Coordinating HR Staff and assisting with HRIS, Benefits and all HR tasks
-Facilitate trainings as needed
-HR related duties/projects as assigned
-Assist in auditing HR Functions and analyzing results
-Interact daily with management and employees to ensure an open line of communication is maintained in order to identify and address any issues, needs, and/or concerns as they arise
-Keep abreast of new legislation, changes in the Human Resources field as well as to establishing a network within the HR community
Work experience 1-2years
Skill set Requirements:
-B.A. or MA in Human Resources
-Knowledge of HRIS
-Knowledge of Benefits administration
-Must possess a sound knowledge of management-labor relations, employment law, practices and procedures within Human Resources Management
-Must have 1-2 years of Human Resources experience.
-Strong MS Office and Google Apps skills
-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
-Must possess leadership skills (initiative, self-starter and influential)
-Strong analytical/problem solving skills - report creation/presentation skills
-Ability to make sound, independent decisions
-Effective organizational skills with ability to multitask
-Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
-Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
