Job Description

To lead and Manage and control all production operations on Zirku (comprising oil and ‎gas treatment. storage,‎
loading, Satah, gas export and associated utilities) ensuring that production and HSE ‎targets are met and plant operates efficiently, economically and safely in compliance ‎with HSEMS policy and objectives, satisfying Business Unit level-2 targets.‎
Manage and ensure safe and efficient production operations of all client crude and ‎its associated gas from its three fields facilities at Zirku Island comprising oil ‎and gas treatment, storage and loading, Satah plant, gas export & Gas ‎Injection associated utilities, Control Room operation and quality control.‎
Lead development, approve and ensure proper and effective implementation of
‎detailed plans and
work program, procedures and standing instructions to ensure that all ‎Production operations from the receipt of crude oil from the fields to its ‎loading on tankers for export and export excess gas to Das island. Maintain a ‎high level of safety in all plants compliance with HSEMS / PTW policy and ‎objectives.‎
Lead and manage work plans to ensure plant shutdowns are optimized and ‎planned activities
objectives are achieved. Ensure projects executed parties especially Brownfield ‎projects, identified integrity projects are executed safely and minimize or ‎eliminate their impact on existing plant operation.‎
Ensure Plant facilities and equipment are integral and safe to operate and ‎inspection reports
findings and proposed actions/recommendations are executed in time or ‎mitigation methods are in place.‎
‎Lead and manage emergencies and process disturbances to minimize ‎consequences on Personnel
Safety, Environment asserts and on production as per company emergency ‎response procedure. Act as advisor and assist Emergency Manager in ‎decision making for Plant related issues. Take lead as Emergency Manager ‎until VP-ZR arrival.‎
Communicate with department managers of other client Sites, ADMA-‎Das, Abu Dhabi support teams, ZR-MTN, HSE, FI, Logistics, Marine, ‎Telecom, administration Services for alignment of related operation activities ‎to resolve day-to-day problems
‎Ensure stabilized crude oil is loaded to assigned tankers, Gas ‎exported and all utility services produced meeting product quality and ‎company/ADNOC standards. Issue cargo loaded computation delivery ‎ticket while ensuring accuracy of Cargo loaded figures.‎
Responsible for manpower competency of all operating personnel ‎and ensure department personnel/U.A.E nationals are trained and competent ‎for taking responsibility of their position and operate plant facilities. Prepare for ‎full organizational readiness of the expanded operation.‎
‎Upgrade and procure reliable and standardized laboratory testing facilities and ‎ensure all tests are carried out as per approved client ADNOC related ‎COPs and national and international recognized standards.‎
‎Monitor plant operation performance, review, test equipment and prepare it ‎for operation and
ensure reported data are accurate and within design operating range. Control ‎all process related discharges from ZIRKU plant.‎
Reviews and approve operation procedures, making recommendations for more ‎efficient and safer operation, and prepare procedures for special tasks using ‎modern techniques like Hazop, Hazid,‎
Risk Assessment and ensure that all risks are ‎lowered to ALARP limits.‎
Recommend upgrades/improves existing facilities. Initiates improvement ‎studies in procedures, working methods, and plans. Initiate the modification ‎through Request for Facility Change forms and provide operational data. ‎Review engineering packages, technical studies for operation related details and ‎proposals related to projects, facility modifications, equipment enhancement, ‎contract documents etc. through all the stages study/ review/ comment up to ‎commissioning.‎
Responsible for preparation of service orders and requisitions for ‎consumable items to be obtained from the stores and direct purchase ‎through Logistics & Supply in Abu Dhabi.‎
Responsible for department personnel/U.A.E. nationals are trained to a ‎level to defined
CAMS/CAS sufficient for them to satisfactorily conduct their duties. Impart ‎training whenever required and plan the training requirements of ‎subordinates. Discusses with Production Managers, Supervisors and ‎MDTC to assess / follow-up the progress of U.A.E. National developees.‎
Lead the production Operation team and ensure personnel are effectively ‎motivated. Resolve
employees concerns and issues arising with the related department. Plan, ‎organize and ensue manpower and plant manning levels are maintained ‎adequate for safe and efficient operation. Set goals and reviews appraisals ‎of subordinates and to determine annual performance rating for each ‎employee. If necessary, initiate and follow up the career development-‎training program for them.‎

Skills

B. Sc. in Chemical or Petroleum or equivalent Engineering.‎
Fifteen years of Production experience in a petroleum production and/or a petrochemical plant ‎including five years of managerial experience.‎
Fully conversant with company policy and operations standards, HSEMS and ADNOC codes ‎of safe practice requirements.‎
Deep knowledge in caring out safe job analysis, Risk assessment using client HSE ‎risk matrix.‎
Very good command in English language written and oral.‎
