Thanks for applying!
I'll present the details you provide on this form to the Casting Director along with your current comp card and or the recent selfie photo taken today for consideration of paid casual background extra filming work on this confidential production. All submissions are private, highly confidential, and at the sole discretion of the Casting Director. I'll let you know if you've been shortlisted for filming!!
Before submitting, check data input for accuracy. Family and friends can apply using their own email address. Your email address is a unique ID that the iSpry Agency system uses to authenticate individual records, avoid duplicates, and prevent accidental data override.
Thank you,
Miriam Spry
If you haven't provided your measurements on a comp card already or your sizing may have changed, we need as a minimum your current measurements; HEIGHT, CHEST/BUST, WAIST, SHOES & GENERAL CLOTHING SIZES, as some roles may have strict requirements due to factors such as the story line, scene styling, and costume design so, please enter only genuine data.
This helps the casting process run as smoothly as possible, not only for yourself but for all the decision-makers involved, including the Casting Director, the extra casting team and departments such as wardrobe and costume, hair and makeup just to name a few.
Select from the dropdown menu list below and enter other information in the sections below. If selected by production, you will be paid where production requires you to attend the filming day/s you work, a costume fitting or any scheduled rehearsal. All pay rates for extras are in accordance with the MEAA equity minimums.
Provide a selfie photo taken today. If you have already provided a current comp card, I advise you to provide a fresh selfie and taken on a smartphone is fine - no hats, sunglasses, or filters so production can see your current natural look & hair length.
Take a selfie photo with the smartphone camera at eye level. Stand and face the camera front-on making sure your head and shoulders are clearly visible. For longer than shoulder-length hair; remove any hair ties and pull a front section of hair forward over your shoulder so that the length can be clearly seen. Try not to stand beside a sunlight window. Make sure the light source is behind the camera and not behind you.
If you are experiencing technical difficulties submitting the online form with a photo, we are sorry for the hassle, love it when technology works! At times I've found a different browser Firefox e.g., instead of Safari/Chrome may help. If you're still having trouble, please reload the form and submit your details without the photo
then save your photo in our Dropbox - https://bit.ly/iSpryCurrentSelfie
